As we scale, security remains a top priority, and we are looking for a proactive Security Engineer with a commitment to building secure, high-quality solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will lead proactive security efforts across cloud and on-prem environments—integrating threat modeling, robust monitoring, and advanced detection capabilities to keep our products one step ahead of evolving threats.
As an international pioneer in sustainable maritime solutions, Metizoft is a global market leader in Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) and provides a range of critical services, including IHM inspections, IHM maintenance and documentation, asbestos removal, chemical management, ship recycling supervision and ESG services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure security.
- Strong proficiency in Azure security tools (Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, IAM) and best practices.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles, DevSecOps, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Practical knowledge of SIEM (especially Microsoft Sentinel), incident response, and log analysis.
- Experience with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Snyk, SonarQube).
- Familiarity with IAM best practices, MFA, role-based access control and Conditional Access.
- Ability to harden Linux and Windows systems for on-premises solutions.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
