Metizoft Offers New Ship Software

Metizoft's new Chemical Management software enables shipowners to comply with current regulations, which require an exposure registry for the crew's contact with for instance chemicals that are carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic or contain lead or lead compounds. As a registry to ensure the health of the crew, it serves as documentation for a possible occupational injury allowance should a person become ill or injured. A registration is required to be available for up to 60 years from the exposure.

Key features of the software:

- Personal crew exposure log
- Consumption history
- Data sheet & Risk Assessment
- Turnkey services
- KPI measurement
- Access on computers, phones and tablets

"It's a great tool where we in addition to the exposure log for crew and clients, receives an added value on both risk assessment and data sheets in one system", says Sigurd Remøy, COO at Remøy Management.
