Frontline Management Ltd chooses Metizoft on IHM
Frontline and Metizoft have signed a framework agreement on inspections and maintenance of the Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM).
"We are very pleased and humble to be the exclusive partner in the environmental requirements for Frontline. The collaboration shows that they are strategic in their choices in terms of future requirements, which are now a reality,” says Gry Cecilie Sydhagen, CEO of Metizoft.
The IHM framework agreement includes the oil tanker fleet of Frontline Ltd. and the dry bulk fleet of Golden Ocean – amounting to a total of 180 vessels.
Frontline is a world-leading oil tanker shipping company in the VLCC, Suezmax and Suezmax OBO classes – with its primary business being transportation of crude oil. They have offices in Bermuda, London, Glasgow, Oslo and Singapore.
Golden Ocean is a world-leading dry bulk shipping company with vessels in the Panamax, Capesize and Ultramax classes. The company has offices in Bermuda, Oslo and Singapore.
“Metizoft has proven on behalf of several major players in the industry that we can handle both inspections and maintenance of the Inventory of Hazardous Materials. We want to meet the requirements on behalf of shipowners,” concludes Sydhagen.
