Finance Manager (APAC)
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with a proactive business mindset and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting

Full-spectrum of accounting functions, including GL, AP/AR, month-end and year-end closing.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.

Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

Ensure timely payment processing for both internal and external stakeholders.
Audit & Compliance

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.

Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.

Ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial procedures.
Business & Strategic Support
-
Partner with senior management to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Provide commercial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Support cost management and financial risk assessment.
Team Leadership
-
Supervise and mentor finance team members.

Review work outputs to ensure high accuracy and quality.

Develop team capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
Successful candidate will be working in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Finance & Administration.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) is beneficial.

4-5 years of relevant work experience.

Proven experience in accounting and/or audit is beneficial.

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Commercially minded with the ability to support business growth.

Prior experience managing or supervising a team is beneficial.

Maritime industry knowledge or experience is an advantage.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
