Content Manager, APAC region

Are you passionate about creating impactful, localised content that drives engagement and growth?
We’re looking for a talented Content Manager to join our global marketing team. Based in our office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you’ll create and manage content tailored to the maritime industry, with a focus on IHM regulations and sustainability.
Reporting to the Marketing Director in Norway, you’ll play a key role in shaping our content marketing efforts in the APAC region. You’ll ensure that our content aligns with Metizoft’s global strategy while addressing local market needs, helping us strengthen our presence across the region.
Key responsibilities
Content strategy and creation
- Develop and execute a regional content strategy for APAC, using customer insights, industry trends, and regulatory updates.
- Align content with Metizoft’s global marketing objectives, ensuring consistent messaging while adapting for cultural and regional relevance.
- Create high-quality, localised and global content such as blog posts, case studies, social media updates, visuals and website copy that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce technically accurate and engaging content addressing customer needs.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team on managing the global editorial calendar to ensure content is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Regional marketing representation
- Be the main marketing representative for Metizoft in the APAC region, ensuring regional initiatives align with global strategies.
- Safeguard Metizoft’s brand identity in APAC by ensuring all content and other marketing activities meet brand guidelines and reflects our values.
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the global marketing team to coordinate marketing efforts and share regional insights to influence global campaigns.
Performance tracking and optimisation
- Monitor and analyse the performance of content initiatives using tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics.
- Provide regular reports on key metrics and use insights to optimise content strategy for the APAC region.
Who you are
You are a skilled content marketer with a deep understanding of how to create and manage impactful content for diverse audiences. You are self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while being part of a global team.
This position involves travel to attend industry events and collaborate with colleagues across different locations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing or a related role, ideally within B2B and/or SaaS.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Proven ability to create and manage text and visuals for different formats and platforms, such as blogs, social media, and whitepapers.
- A strong understanding of cultural nuances in the APAC region.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and SEO best practices. Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate across time zones and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with excellent organisational and communication skills.
