Sales Manager (APAC)

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and growing Metizoft Asia’s sales operations across the Asia Pacific region.

This role focuses on driving revenue, managing sales performance, developing strategic customer and partner relationships, and expanding Metizoft’s footprint within the marine sector through ESG, IHM and other Metizoft offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy:

  • Prepare, develop, and implement action plans to deliver the Asia Pacific sales budget and strategic objectives.

  • Secure order intake, sales volume, and profitability in line with agreed targets for Metizoft Asia Pte Ltd.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights for the Asia Pacific region.

Business Development & Market Expansion:

  • Build, manage, and strengthen a robust Sales Agent Network across the Asia Pacific region.

  • Identify, develop, and secure new customer accounts within the marine sector and non-marine industries, particularly for ESG, LCA, and digital analytics software applications.

  • Proactively identify customer needs and propose tailored services and solutions to maximize value creation.

Customer & Contract Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage framework agreements and customer contracts.

  • Maintain, improve, and expand the customer portfolio with a strong focus on profitability and risk management.

  • Prepare and continuously update the customer database, ensuring appropriate management of customer risks and liabilities.

Industry Expertise & Compliance:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ESG requirements, IMO regulations, and relevant maritime compliance frameworks.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on regulatory and sustainability-related matters.

Internal Collaboration & Regional Alignment:

  • Develop and foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, product, and delivery teams.

  • Optimize cooperation and alignment between the Singapore sales organization and other Asia Pacific offices.

Representation & Brand Presence:

  • Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, industry events, and networking functions as required.

  • Strengthen Metizoft’s market presence and brand recognition across the region.

 

Successful candidate will be working located in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Sales, APAC.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, International Management, or a related discipline.

  • Several years of proven sales experience within the marine or maritime-related industry.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in services sales, with a strong track record of successfully executing structured sales processes.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Decisive, action-oriented, and commercially driven with a strong results and target-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Strong customer understanding, relationship management, and leadership capabilities.

  • Experience in strategic planning, sales forecasting, and target setting.

  • Solid understanding of service-oriented organizations and global sales processes.

  • Proficient in Hubspot or other CRM tools is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region as part of the role, when required.
